Contact the visitor guide

Use this page for questions about the guide itself — a broken link, a planning clarification, or a correction. For park alerts, passes and tickets, go to the official agency or the operator you intend to book.

Direct answer

Email the visitor guide at callum.sherwood.seo@gmail.com. Use this inbox for broken links, factual corrections, and planning clarifications about the guide. We do not take tour bookings, quote live fares, or hold aircraft seats. For park alerts and passes use DBCA. For federal parks on another week use Parks Australia. For destination orientation use Tourism WA.

What to include in an email

The URL you were on, the sentence that looks wrong, and the official source you trust more than us. If you are asking “can I do X in one day,” tell us the month, whether you have a real 4WD, and whether anyone in the party hates small aircraft. We may point you at an existing hub rather than writing a custom itinerary. That is the point of the site.

What we will not reply with

A price. A favourite operator. A medical clearance. A promise that a track is open. A booking reference.

Other inboxes that are not us

Airlines, hire-car desks, DBCA camp bookings, El Questro’s current operator, boat companies on Lake Argyle. If you email us those questions, we will send you back to them.

Heritage contact URLs

/contact.html, /contact-us.html, /english/contact.html, /english/booking.html and /contact-us/ redirect here. There is no 2004 booking form hiding behind a splash page.

Response time

This is an editorial inbox, not a call centre. If your travel is tomorrow, do not wait for us — open the official alert and the operator. If your travel is in a month, we will try to be useful.

Related

FAQ answers most access questions in a first sentence. About explains the project. Privacy explains what happens to an email. Conditions explains what you may not do with the text.

If you are safe-to-travel worried right now, use Emergency WA and local emergency numbers — not this formless paragraph.

A template that saves both of us time

Subject: page URL + month of travel. Body: vehicle type, whether a flight is acceptable, the sentence that looks wrong, the official link you trust. That email is answerable. “What’s the best tour?” is not.

Time zones and the idea of urgent

The inbox is not staffed like a rescue service. If you are deciding tonight whether a track is open, open DBCA and Main Roads. If you are planning a July week from another continent, we can point you at hubs in ordinary time.

Operators and agencies

If you represent a park or a licensed operator and a sentence here is factually stale, write. We will prefer your official URL to our adjective. We will not add your phone number as a featured booking partner.

What a good correction looks like

“On /destinations/purnululu/ you said X; Explore Parks WA now says Y; here is the URL.” That email changes a sentence. “Your site should promote my tour” does not. The inbox is editorial.

After you write

If we do not reply before your flight, you still have DBCA, Main Roads, and the operator. Do not wait for a planner to bless a Thursday. The inbox is for the guide. The north is for the agencies. That split is the contact policy.

What to put in the email

Use callum.sherwood.seo@gmail.com. Include the URL you read, the official source you trust, and the sentence that looks stale. That email can change a line. A request to “promote my tour” cannot. A request for a live fare cannot.

Facts on this page are drawn from public DBCA Explore Parks WA notes for Purnululu and Mirima, Parks Australia for federal park context on a wider itinerary, Tourism Western Australia’s Kimberley destination pages, the UNESCO Purnululu listing (inscribed 2003), and Main Roads WA / Emergency WA for access and alerts. Historic eastkimberleytours.com.au URLs (Wayback 2003–2017) inform path fidelity — not live prices or recovered operator copy. Ready to plan East Kimberley days from Kununurra?

Start with Purnululu access, a Lake Argyle afternoon, or the dry-season window. Confirm park alerts, passes and operator inclusions before you book — we do not sell seats.
